Our
Story
I’m Nahlia Loren-Couto, documentary filmmaker, writer, director, producer, and founder of Earthbeat Studios.
I create cinematic environmental adventure stories rooted in wild places, human experience, and our relationship with the natural world. Earthbeat grew from a simple belief: the stories we tell about the planet should reflect the way we choose to move through it.
Our work brings together environmental storytelling, adventure filmmaking, visual anthropology, and sustainable production to create films that are immersive, human, and grounded in place, From independent documentaries to creative collaborations, we are interested in stories of resilience, culture, connection, stewardship, and the people who live, work, play, and protect in the landscapes they call home.
My background in creative practice, circular design, and education informs the way Earthbeat approaches production, considering not only what appears on screen, but how a story is made and the footprint it leaves behind.
Every frame is an opportunity to pay attention, connect more deeply, and remind ourselves that we are part of nature and not separate from it.
